Field Jacket - Slate Typewriter
Description
Our field jacket illustrates our fabric-first design approach. Cut from a Japanese-milled cotton typewriter cloth, specially dyed and treated to produce a softened, lived in finish. Woven as a dense 30s plain weave, this cloth was selected for its lightness and wearability in warmer weather, characterised by a crunchy, paper-like handle with natural body. The Field Jacket is half-lined in a naturally cool 100% cupro.
Cut to an enveloping silhouette designed to sit off the shoulders, with voluminous sleeves and a mid-length finish. Two patch pockets anchor the front, along with a split sleeve construction with functioning button tabs.
